The annual July 4th Throwback Baseball Game and Celebration!

Every year, a slice of Americana returns to Springfield as residents don turn-of-the-century uniforms and equipment and battle it out on the baseball diamond: East v West (of Main Street) for bragging rights and eternal glory. Totally free and family friendly, spectators often bring folding chairs, blankets & snacks to make a picnic out of the event, and this year Folk Food food truck and Bold City Pops will be providing good eats and cold treats.

This one of a kind event is open to all, and all are welcome to stay afterwards to watch the Downtown fireworks from the park, which can mostly be seen from the comfort of your picnic blanket.
