Join us for our 2021 Historic Preservation Workshop Series! Special thanks to the City of Jacksonville's Planning and Development department for partnering with us on this series.
We'll be offering several opportunities throughout the year on different topics that affect homeowners in Historic Springfield. Historic properties have unique charm, craftsmanship and also a special process to renovate them. Both residential and commercial renovations within Historic Districts of Jacksonville require a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) from the City of Jacksonville. Learn about that process, what requires a COA and what does not, and how to be most efficient with your time when it comes to renovating a historic property. Join the City of Jacksonville Planning and Development staff for these informative presentations with time to ask your questions!
Registration is required, but all programs are free. Each presentation will take place at the SPAR Office Community Room (1321 Main St N, Jacksonville, FL 32206). The doors will open at 5:30 p.m., the presentation will take place from 6-7 p.m.
