SPAR Committees

Finance

The Finance Committee provides financial oversight to the organization, including budgeting and financial planning.

Membership

The Membership Committee seeks to gain and retain members of SPAR.

Commercial Corridors

The Commercial Corridors Committee supports current and new businesses in the commercial districts of the community.

Block Captains

The Block Captains Committee works to address blight, crime and other quality of life issues.

Communications

The Communications Committee is responsible for SPAR communications to the public and members.

Governance

The Governance Committee provides guidance for the organizations effectiveness and continuing development.

Executive

The Executive Committee is comprised of the Officers on the Board of Directors.

and event committees including Jacksonville Porchfest, Tour of Homes, July 4th Throwback Baseball Game and Second Sundays.

There are also important non-committee roles in fund development, tech, project management and liaising with our local government.
