A community tradition, the Turkey Bowl pits the East v West (of the Springfield Historic District) against eachother in a game of flag football - complete with catered breakfast, full size goal posts, and old-fashioned, turn of the century football (think rugby ball) & rules.

Open to anyone who can keep up (men, women, boys & girls), ALL SKILL LEVELS are welcome to play, and people are encouraged to bring lawn chairs & their favorite beverage to watch the game in Klutho Park.

> 7:30am - Help set up the full size goal posts and mark the sidelines & endzones

> 8:00am - Free catered breakfast at 1215 Boulevard for all (both players & fans) by Uptown Kitchen & Bar. Players get fist dibs!

> 9:00am - Kickoff!

Game is timed (just like the old days) and over by 10:30am, so you can enjoy Thanksgiving festivities.

Eastsiders wear a Red shirt, Westsiders wear a black shirt, flags provided!
