The annual Springfield 5K Run & Walk Race is being held Saturday, May 30th, with all proceeds going to the Jacksonville Urban League. For both casual and serious runners & walkers alike, the route winds through the character-rich streets of the Springfield Historic District, where turn of the century architecture and tree lined streets are the background to the event.
