As a nonprofit, Springfield Preservation and Revitalization runs on volunteers. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities and our volunteers can choose their own time commitment. Complete the information below to start making a positive difference in the Springfield community!

Right now, we have 2 big volunteer needs:

1. Community Cleanups: We need volunteers to help us beautify the neighborhood. We host community cleanups at least once per month where volunteers pickup trash and remove litter from different parts of Springfield. See our 2026 Community Cleanup Calendar for more information.
2. Apr 25-26 Home Tour: We need volunteer docents to guide guests through the homes on our tour. You will greet guests as they enter the house, help them navigate the property, and answer any questions (we provide helpful talking points). Official signup coming soon but in the meantime contact [email protected] if you'd like to volunteer for this event.
