Come join the 5K run and one mile run/walk along the tree lined streets of the Springfield Historic District, where modern Jacksonville put down roots in 1869. The Jacksonville Urban League, in cooperation with this diverse neighborhood and citywide partners, is bringing people together from around the city to support healthy living and local vendors. You can sign-up on-line, or on race-day, to run by yourself, with friends or as part of a company, neighborhood or a large team.

Come out and sample a variety of foods, from hummus and hamburgers to pizza and ice cream; visit noteworthy houses; stop by the historic fire station; and pick up information on health enhancing lifestyles from vendors at the race site. Spend the morning, or make a day of it after the run-walk events, exploring a timeless neighborhood where modern Jacksonville began.
