The City Council is considering a settlement agreement between the City of Jacksonville and Department of Justice that will impact the Springfield Zoning Overlay. SPAR helped to establish the zoning overlay in 2000 to encourage revitalization of our community.

A meeting has been scheduled by the Board of Directors of SPAR Council to discuss the proposed settlement and what position the organization and community may have on the matter. In the spirit of transparency, this Board of Directors discussion will be open to public to attend. Opportunity for public input may be limited.
