As a nonprofit, Springfield Preservation and Revitalization runs on volunteers. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities and our volunteers can choose their own time commitment. Complete the information below to start making a positive difference in the Springfield community!
Right now, we have 2 big volunteer needs:
- Jacksonville PorchFest: We need volunteers to help us at Jacksonville PorchFest on November 8, 2025. This free music festival in Springfield attracts 15,000+ people to the neighborhood, and volunteers help us keep the festival free to all. See our volunteer website for more information.
- Community Cleanups: We need volunteers to help us cleanup and beautify the neighborhood. We host community cleanups at least once per month where volunteers pickup trash and remove litter from different parts of Springfield. See our 2025 Community Cleanup Calendar for more information.
