June 18 - The COA Process and Installing Solar Roofs in Historic Districts

Historic properties have unique charm, craftsmanship and a special process to renovate them. Both residential and commercial renovations within Historic Districts of Jacksonville require a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) from the City of Jacksonville. During this Historic Preservation Workshop, learn about that process, what requires a COA and what does not, and how to be most efficient with your time when it comes to renovating a historic property.

You will also learn about the guidelines the Jacksonville Planning and Development Department uses to determine the appropriateness of installing solar panels in Historic Districts.  If you're planning to renovate your home and/or you’re considering adding solar, you don't want to miss this workshop!

All workshops are free, but registration is required. This is an online webinar event.
