What's going on in the Springfield Historic District?

Join your neighbors and friends at the Springfield Community Meeting to talk about new projects and what's happening in our neighborhood.

High profile property renovations, new pubic art program, progress on traffic issues, newly installed bike racks & banners, park improvements, new business on Main Street, and a couple other surprises will be shared.

Doors open at 5:30pm with refreshments, meeting begins at 6pm sharp.

It's been revealed! Michael Bourre of Bourre Construction Group has officially purchased the Drew Mansion, one of the most significant yet endangered residential properties in Springfield (and Jacksonville), and will speak about his plans for the property and the neighborhood in general at the community meeting. Have questions? Bring those too. Can't wait.

Happy to say the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville will be on hand to talk about their new public art program in Springfield and the other historic 'hoods around Downtown. Just one of the cool things on the agenda!
