Our community is known for it's neighborhood activities, both planned and impromptu. The Community Calendar highlights some of the larger events, but there are many others as well.

Reoccurring monthly meetings include the SPAR Council Board of Directors meetings, which are open to the public and held every 3rd Monday of the month @ 6pm inside of Brick and Beam, 1101 N. Main Street. This location is temporary, while our regular location recovers from hurricane damage. And also Sheriff's Watch meetings, held every 4th Tuesday of the month @ 6pm at the Kennedy Community Center at 1133 Ionia Street, on the 2nd floor.
