As a nonprofit, Springfield Preservation and Revitalization runs on volunteers. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities and our volunteers can choose their own time commitment. Complete the information below to start making a positive difference in the Springfield community!

Right now, we have 2 big volunteer needs:

1. Community Cleanups: We need volunteers to help us cleanup and beautify the neighborhood. We host community cleanups at least once per month where volunteers pickup trash and remove litter from different parts of Springfield. See our 2024 Community Cleanup Calendar for more information.
2. Beverage Tent Sales: We host 20-25 free events per year for the community, and one of the ways we keep our events free is by selling beverages and merchandise during the event. Currently, we need volunteers at our May 31 Summer Kickoff, July 4 Throwback Baseball Game, September 27 Springfield Spirits Night, and November 29 Holiday Tree Lighting.

Springfield Preservation and Revitalization (SPAR) Council runs multiple yearly events and programs.
