The SPAR annual community meeting is just around the corner, where residents and stakeholders gather to hear about upcoming projects, get updates on important items, review progress over the past year, and vote on new Board members. We have recently partnered with our neighbors at Florida State College on several projects, and we'll gather in FSCJ's auditorium on November 10th. The agenda includes...

Guest Speakers:
We'll get an update about the "9th & Main" property, introducing the ownership group which has plans for a resturant, brewery & theater. We'll also meet the President of FSCJ's Downtown Campus, which borders Springfield, to hear how FSCJ plans to connect students to Downtown & Springfield through new housing, programs & cafe.

Year-in-Review & Community Updates:
See what's been accomplished in 2016, get updates on what's going on with current projects & efforts, and find out what can we look forward to in 2017.

New Board Members:
SPAR Members (you can join or renew at the meeting!) will vote on a new slate of candidates for the Board of Directors. The Board is the leadership group of the organization working to improve our community.
