"SPAR SPEAK” the Weekly Update
The SPAR Annual Home and Garden Tour will be held on Mother's Day weekend, May 7th 8th and 9th. We will have the beautiful Henrietta’s Tea Room again. Tickets are $12.50, early purchase, or $15.00 at the door. SPAR member price is $12.50 anytime. You can upgrade your Tour ticket to our “Eats and Drinks” ticket for $25.00 or $30.00 at the door. What is an upgraded ticket?! It is a great new benefit that has been added this year. Essentially, you can purchase a regular home tour ticket and it will get you everything that you have received in the past -- Tea Room access and Home and Garden access. If you purchase an upgraded ticket for a little bit more, you will have access to 10 restaurants and bars in the Springfield area that will provide discounts. You will also receive a free beer from the Bier Garden during the Home Tour. Upgrade locations included so far are: Carl’s, City Kidz, Hola, Shorty’s, Three Layers, The Cellar, Uptown Market, Wafaa N Mike’s, Community Garden, Shantytown, and maybe The Pearl. Most will offer a “Buy One Entrée, Get One Entrée of Equal or Lesser Value Free”. Tickets will be good through 6/15/2010.
