Hogans Creek Clean Up 2016

Join your neighbors & friends at the big annual Hogans Creek Clean Up! This event is always the largest clean up project of the year, if you have an hour to spare, won't you lend a hand cleaning up our community?

Most know that over decades of neglect, Hogans Creek has accumulated untold masses of garbage, bottles, clothing, shopping carts, bicycles, and other random junk clogging and polluting the waterway. But, each & every year we try to chip away at that, with the help of the St. Johns Riverkeeper and City of Jacksonville. So here's what you need to know:

All hands on deck! This can't be done without selfless volunteers, like yourself. If you have an hour or two to spare in the morning of Saturday, March 19th, please join us. Family friendly, all ages welcome.

We'll provide the trash bags, latex gloves, trash grabbers, and a lite breakfast (coffee, juice, bagels, etc), but it would be FANTASTIC if volunteers brought kayaks, pole nets, pole hooks, canoes, and really anything else to snag trash from the parks and in the creek itself. We'll sign off on volunteers hours, give you loads of karma points, and the St. Johns Riverkeeper will give you a free t-shirt too.

Questions? Email us [email protected], and see you there!
