UFPTI, an innovative cancer treatment center ($150M facility opened in 2006) is adding a cancer-cure hub
3rd & Main, a mixed-use project – 36 extended-stay units (70% occupancy) and 7,500 sq ft of retail space (fully occupied)
Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) – Uptown Trolley route – will connect the Downtown Commercial Business District with the Uptown Springfield Business District corridors and UF & Shands Medical Center
The Hogans Creek Greenway, a COJ parks improvement project, will provide seating and a multi-use pathway to better connect the Uptown Springfield Business District with the Downtown Commercial Business District
JAXPORT expansion, 10 minutes to the north of the district – expected to include international trade partners Mitsui O.S.K. (Japan) and Hanjin (Korea), and bring 5,000 – 10,000 jobs to the area
